How to Get AI for Someone in Prison
You can give your loved one AI help for $5 a month, and they can use it from the TRULINCS email they already have. Here's how families set it up.
Why families sign up
- Less copying back and forth: many families already look things up and email the answers in. InM8AI lets your loved one ask directly.
- Help at any hour: they get answers when they're on TRULINCS, not just when you're free.
- Progress toward release: study, write a resume, and plan reentry while still inside.
Step 1: Join the waitlist
Join the waitlist on our home page with your information and your loved one's full name, register number, and facility. You'll get first access and the $5-per-month launch rate, locked in for a full year.
Step 2: Tell your loved one to add InM8AI
Ask them to add enroll@inm8ai.com as a contact on TRULINCS, then send it their full name, register number, and facility.
Step 3: Start the subscription
Your loved one can't use InM8AI until a subscription is active. You can pay for it on their behalf, so it doesn't come out of their trust fund. Start on the subscription page.
Step 4: They start asking questions
InM8AI sends your loved one their own personal address. They add it as a contact and email their questions there. Answers come back to their TRULINCS inbox.
What else should families know?
- TRULINCS fees still apply: inmates pay 5 cents per minute to read and write any message. Putting money on their account helps.
- Messages are monitored: the Bureau of Prisons can read every TRULINCS message, including InM8AI's.
- It follows the rules: InM8AI won't help with anything against BOP rules. See our Safety & Compliance page.
Can I find out where someone is held?
Yes. Use the Bureau of Prisons inmate locator at bop.gov to look up their facility and register number.
